What We Value

RCC Kids

Small Groups

We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Safety & Security

Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number. Every Dream Teamer is screened with an interview and national background check. Every hallway is monitored by security personnel.

Partnering with Parents

Our goal is to partner with parents to lead the next generation to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Weekly your child is sent home with a Parent Cue…it Cues you to have daily conversations as a family.

The Bible is the most amazing story ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Best Hour of a Kid’s Week

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.

How Check-In Works

You may check in your child at any available station where you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s environment and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, you have the option to have a text sent to your personal cell phone or your child’s identification number will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a member of our Host Team who will direct you to your child’s environment.

      Babies – Pre K

Waumba Land is our environment created especially for your infant through preschool-aged children. We can’t wait to meet them! We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children. So, you can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter in every experience.

We look forward to helping your preschoolers learn more about God. It is our hope that your child will learn these 3 Basic Truths before they leave Waumba Land:

God MADE me.
God LOVES me.
Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

Accommodations for children with special needs is available. So we are prepared to make Sunday morning the best hour of your child's week, we would love to talk you prior to your first visit.

           Kindergarten - 5th Grade

In UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these Three Basic Truths stick:

I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The focus in UpStreet is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's Word fits into their daily lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last. That's why it's important to make sure your child connects with the same friends and same leader at the same hour—EVERY SUNDAY!

Accommodations for children with special needs is available. So we prepared to make Sunday morning the best hour of your child's week, we would love to talk you prior to your first visit.

The Ride Home

We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.

It's our goal that parents and kids talk about faith daily. We hope the ride home
is a great beginning to your week. Don't forget your Parent Cue...this is a tool
for you and your family to continue conversations started on Sunday.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 is a great model for daily faith.
"And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up."
