Lending a helping hand to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Convoy of Hope will be coordinating the distribution of relief supplies in Perry, FL
at least through October 7, 2024.  Here’s how you can support their efforts:

Age and waiver requirements:

– Individuals below the age of 13 are not eligible to volunteer with Disaster Services with Convoy of Hope (COH).

– Volunteers between the ages of 13-15 will need to have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

– Volunteers between the ages of 16 to 17 need to have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian and need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

What to wear: 

– You will provided with a blue volunteer shirt when we arrive at the COH worksite.

– Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes.

What to expect:

– Most of the work is labor intensive and includes standing on your feet for long periods.

– While COH tries to accommodate those who need lighter work, we cannot guarantee those kinds of jobs will be available.

-Lunch will be provided.
